FOLK DANCE WORKSHOP
July 19 to July 27, 2008
Combine your love of dance with a Mexican adventure!

Enjoy our breakfast buffet in the morning, then set off on guided tours of the area until 4pm. Return to the Villa for Folk Dance Class from 6 to 8:15pm, followed by the traditional Mexican late evening meal, la cena. This meal includes a soup, fruit or salad, and such Mexican antojitos as quesadillas, tamales, tacos, tortas (sandwiches), tlacoyos and gorditas.
Our dance instructor, Gabriela Cano Prado, is a member of the state dance troupe “El Ballet Tradicional de Tlaxcala”. She has toured with the troupe throughout Mexico, Cuba and the western United States. Her extensive knowledge of traditional regional folk dance, history and culture is matched only by her enthusiasm for sharing it with others.
Our 8-night package includes the following:
Transportation to and from the Mexico City airport
Five days of folk dance classes (two hours per day)
Lodging in one of our bright, spacious rooms
Breakfast buffet and evening snacks
Guided tours of the region
Entry fees to museums and archeological sites

Mexican music performance
