Discover the tranquil charm of our
Mexican country villa, the Quinta Amada Bed and
Breakfast in Tlaxcala.
We warmly welcome all
visitors, their children and small pets. We cater
especially to the cultural traveler. We find that
our guests are the independent, inquisitive type,
eager to immerse themselves in Mexican life and
learn about local history, traditions, food and
fiestas. We are here to answer your questions, serve
as a pleasant home base for your daily excursions,
and provide you with all the comforts of home.
We live here and are part of the
local community. We combine our love of Mexico with
up-close and personal knowledge gained from our own
experience over the years. We enjoy sharing this
knowledge with you, from the most mundane to the
historical and cultural. When you arrive we will
give you a pamphlet with practical information such
as using the buses, making phone calls, dining out,
and
safety concerns. We offer you a complementary
tour of downtown Tlaxcala to give you a basic
orientation. Our guest library has guidebooks, local
tourist information, and maps for your convenience.
We will lend you a cell phone so you can easily keep
in touch with us while off on your own discoveries.
We offer you a full American or Mexican-style breakfast of your choosing, served
in the guest dining room, on the terrace, or in the privacy of your own room.
Just choose your favorite foods from our extensive
menu
the evening before.
Choose among our three sunny, spacious rooms, each with sitting area, large
tiled bath with shower, and unique decorative style.
All rooms are off a balcony on the second floor, and each has a
separate keyed entrance for your privacy. Your bilingual hosts, Sharon and Jaime
Sanchez, live on the first floor and are dedicated to giving you a taste of
authentic Mexican life in a safe, comfortable setting. We are located just
outside of Tlaxcala city, in the little village of San Juan Totolac, on a
hillside that affords you beautiful panoramic views of three majestic volcanoes
and the valley below. Our large garden area, patio and two terraces give you
many pleasant places to relax and unwind.
